w.r.t. web2py migrations, I don't think the sqlite typing question is pertinent;
as I recall Massimo saying, (and indeed, as the code in gluon/sql.py: Table._migrate() shows) web2py does not do migrations in sqlite. In any case, both Python 2.5 an 2.6 embed sqlite3.
