Hi Oleg, I'm currently looking for a way to display a progress indicator for file uploads. There seems to be no obvious way to implement this within the web2py framework (without implementing the upload in a separate cgi script or by some special purpose apache modules). So I'm all for it and think it would be really nice to have this feature integrated.
