yes it is and I've tried with no parameters and with -a '<recycle>' -p
9999

The only difference i can imagine is that eclipse is using a different
python environment that is not configured properly. But Ive reviewed
that setup as well.

There is one other complication I probably should have mentioned but
didn't want to complicate the discussisn. I have a build process that
compiles a new build of web2py by copying files from the web2py svn to
a build folder then copies all the files specific to my project into
the build folder as well. I have that last stpe setup as an automatic
build step so soon as i make a change it happens. Its a pretty sweet
setup if anyone wants to check it out take a look at the ant build.xml
http://code.google.com/p/oxapps/source/browse/trunk/oxapps/build.xml

So at this point if i want to debug i just have to launch it without
using the admin panel or i can use the admin panel but not directly
debug in eclipse a trade off i can live with but it would be nice to
get it working properly. Moreover i want to know what exactly is
happening to break the admin panel.
