I wonder if I could get some more hints about setting up web2py with
cherokee? I followed these instructions
http://wiki.web2py.com/Web2py_Cherokee
http://www.web2py.com/AlterEgo/default/show/184

it doesn't work, although I admit my understanding of web-server
running is naive. Formerly I have had only trac/modpython/apache and
redmine/RoR/apache experience so it is probably something dumb I'm
doing. Or maybe the fastcgi wasn't working? I have php working using
fastcgi on this server and also django with scgi/flup.

If I run web2py by itself it launches the little server connected to
port:8000 and it seems to work so again it is my naiveté about the
webserver. I noticed that cherokee (0.99.24) came with many wizards
to set up different CMS's or whatever and Django and RoR are both in
there, and setup of a project is incredibly painless. Sure wish there
was something like that for web2py . . .
