A user asked for a web2py certificate. So I thought about this:

I am thinking about rules on who will get these. For now I came up
with these:
1) You will get the contributor certificate if a) you have contributed
to web2py AND b) you have sent me a signed copy of the contributor
agreement:

(in this case you will also mentioned in the who.html page and marked
with a *star*)
2) You get a the knowledge certificate if a) you teach a course on
web2py OR b) you have taken a course about web2py from a certified
instructor (like an IPD course at DePaul University) OR c) You have
deployed a substantial web2py application (whether or not this is open
source).
3) For now I have the final words on who gets or does not get a
certificate. I can also revoke certificates. Until we can create a
board of reviewers.
I am not quite ready yet to take applications. In fact I am
considering setting up a page that would allow users to make a
donation when applying for the certificate. I am also considering
deploying this on GAE.
