Another example from this thread: http://groups.google.com/group/web2py/browse_thread/thread/a5c93e02e4f33a60. This simple pattern "^127\.0\.0\.1:.*" won't be rewritten unless you add the slash to make it "^127\.0\.0\.1:/.*". Isn't that confusing?
