I much prefer YUI 3 over Jquery 1.4... YUI 3 is not only smaller (7k + plugins you choose to use), but it is also a tighter package, and has a great set of features (CUSTOME EVENTS!!).
Congrats to the jQuery team non-the-less, the world still needs jQuery.
