i think the problem is a bit deeper.. after having changed the name it started working with the new version, but it contained an error (a variable not define because i mistyped it). i corrected the error and it keeps on yielding it and referring to a line number that does not exist anymore, like if the module was cached and the server (web2py develop server under mac) doesn't update to the current version. any help?
