is you are planning any patch to DAL please consider this: If you send me a patch for sql.py, you will force me to move the patch to the new dal and further delay the release of the latter
If you send me a patch for dal.py you will put pressure on me to release it earlier and will show me that you have tested it (as far as I know only Thadeus has tested it at the moment).
