I am becoming desperate about this problem. I could so far not succeed to get web2py working behind apache where web2py is not root (e.g. the setup of the ubuntu-setup script).
Is there somewhere an working example of a setup where web2py is working with wsgi alongside a php site behind apache2? If I do not get this one solved, I will be forced to stop trying to use web2py in a production environment and look for other (maybe php) solutions. My preference is to work with python and I have invested a lot of time trying to learn web2py and get it working.
