Reports: With web apps, so much info can now be gleaned from the screen by 'drilling-down' that the need for nicely formatted, printable reports is diminishing somewhat. However, there's still no limit to the information that staff would potentially like to have, and to deny them would reduce their efficency. Just consider confidentiality before you let everyone sift through the data though. You don't want a printout of your huge fees posted on the noticeboard! Some systems have data-dictionaries to limit the fields, but you can do the same yourself using some clever DB views. --David
