According to http://api.jquery.com/jQuery.ajax/ dataType, one of the settings of jQuery.ajax, when set to "html" returns HTML as plain text; included script tags are evaluated when inserted in the DOM.
Similar effect is obtained setting it to "script" but with the side effect of turning POSTs into GETs.
