Does your appadmin.py controller have something like:
if request.env.http_x_forwarded_for or request.env.wsgi_url_scheme\
in ['https', 'HTTPS']:
session.secure()
This works for me on webfaction (and, of course, you have to have SSL
enabled on your site (from the webfaction panel).
