Does this apply to the dev environment as well? Just fire it up and run it via localhost?

Also, since bulk inserts are now possible in GAE http://groups.google.com/group/web2py/browse_thread/thread/93d3dad8474735e0/0e5bc2a69f0767d6?lnk=gst&q=bulk+insert#0e5bc2a69f0767d6, does that mean they're only possible from within the application itself (not via script)?
