    """ok so this presents the interface for entering data"""
    form=SQLFORM(db.blog)
    thesubmitdiv=form.element('#submit_record__row')
    thesubmitdiv[1].append(INPUT(_type='reset',_value="Reset"))
    return dict(form=form)

Seemed a little more easier!
