Over the past month I have built Meeting Monkey. It is meant as a meeting facilitation tool to aid in helping groups think, decide and act together. Please take a look and share with others you think may be interested. I welcome any and all feedback as it will only help me make this better. Please let me know what you think.
In order to join a sample meeting please click the following link: When you click on it you will be asked to login, but will need to register first. Once you do you should be placed ‘into a meeting’. Your role in this test meeting is “participant”. If you were a leader you could control the meeting by clicking on the “control meeting” menu item. This allows you to turn off and on various meeting tools. When you create your own meetings you will see how this can be utilized to run meetings with various purposes: brainstorming, prioritization, consensus building, and action tracking. As people add topics and categories it may be useful to notice how you can change your view via the view menu. When you have had enough, try clicking on the “My Meetings” menu option. This should show you a list of one meeting – “Test meeting for web2py group to play with”. When you create your own meetings, you can “edit” them by clicking on the “edit” label to the right of the meeting row, and you could delete them the same way. The remove option fo rth test meeting simply removes it form your "My Meetings" list and deletes you as a participant. When you create your own meetings you will have the ability to invite others to this meeting by entering the invitee’s email address in the text box, selecting a role, and pressing add. This will cause the invitee to get an email with a link which will behave similar to whenyou clicked on the link above. You can also create a meeting by clicking on the “Create Meeting” button and inviting others. Feel free to do so and invite me using “[email protected]” /david
