perhaps I have a similar problem .. I just installed with: wget http://web2py.googlecode.com/hg/scripts/setup-web2py-ubuntu.sh chmod + x setup-web2py-ubuntu.sh sudo ./setup-web2py-ubuntu.sh
the system could not connect .. until I happened to switch to https Nor did then download: http://www.web2py.com/examples/static/web2py_src.zip so I download from my computer and then with a LIVE CD copy it into the directory /home/www-data on the server I had to edit the file: setup-web2py-ubuntu.sh to continue the installation without downloading the file. at the end of the installation was successful. but the administrative interfaces is disabled. but access to it using https: / / no password requested I note at the end of the installation, as in the example: http://vimeo.com/10377947 ------ google traductor ----- quizás tengo un problema similar.. acabo de instalar con: wget http://web2py.googlecode.com/hg/scripts/setup-web2py-ubuntu.sh chmod +x setup-web2py-ubuntu.sh sudo ./setup-web2py-ubuntu.sh el sistema no lograba conectarse.. hasta que se me ocurrio cambiar a https luego tampoco logro descargar: http://www.web2py.com/examples/static/web2py_src.zip asi que lo baje desde mi equipo y luego con un CD LIVE lo copie dentro del directorio /home/www-data en el servidor tube que modificar el archivo: setup-web2py-ubuntu.sh para que prosiguiera la instalación sin descargar el archivo. al final la instalación fue satisfactoria. pero la interfaces administrativa esta desabilitada. aunque acceso a ella usando https:// no note que me pidiera contraseña al final de la instalación, como en el ejemplo de: http://vimeo.com/10377947 -- Díaz Luis TSU Analisis de Sistemas Universidad de Carabobo http://web2pyfacil.blogspot.com/ Facultad de Odontología<http://www.odontologia.uc.edu.ve/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=102&Itemid=85>
