Well, fwiw, our company moved from MS Exchange to Google Apps
recently, and people perceived Gmail as sluggish in comparison to
Outlook. I'm sure there are other factors besides the overall
performance of the site, but it illustrates that _responsiveness_ of
the system is very important. And it feels more responsive if you
don't reload the page in some cases.
