Hello Richard, powerTable is currently based on a modified version of SQLTABLE, but I realized that when working with Ajax datasource SQLTABLE is not a good idea. so now I'm thinking in restarting the development of the plugin from scratch.
Create aspecialized class to return the TABLE object and so able to deal more easily with JSON and XML. Many people reported bugs, especially bugs related to construction of Java Script code. I already found a better way to create the JS output, but I have no time to work on that now. There's a lot to redo in the plugin, code to be improved and any help is greatly appreciated.
