Hi All,
Indeed this is the best web framework out there. I started with Django
and web2py simultaneously. Stopped working with Django midway (as
things went more complicated) and went ahead with web2py, the results
were simply astonishing. I could complete a full desktop project with
more features in web2py in record time (3 months flat along with
learning web2py, which I still am! ) not to mention it was multiuser,
multi-workspace project. Its way productive than any other framework
I've seen or used.
Also plan to use new DAL in standalone Desktop apps.

Web2py Rocks!! and community provides excellent support and is very
enthusiastic as well.

Thanks Massimo and all those who have contributed to Web2py and its
success. I would like it to be THE DE-FACTO standard web framework for
Python :-)

Just A thought - Can we integrate a web-framework in python directly
(in the language distribution (sdk)itself?) Being a batteries included
framework!! Bet, I will vote for Web2py :))

Also looking out Web2py support for Python 3 (maybe a Web3py :-) ).
Ye, I know ... but I believe, if we are there first! we can me a
difference.

Cheers, Rahul D.
