there was already a suggestion for that, the answer was to take the methods for displaying the tickets and displaying the ticket content instead of the link if the user has the right permissions, should be straight forward for somebody a bit into the web2py code unfortunately nobody had time/interest yet to implement it i would love to have it too but also no time currently, so keep bugging until somebody finally implements it or do it yourself i remember that massimo said he also likes the idea :D
