Actually, the easiest and cleanest thing to do is go to the settings menu, select Tools, and uncheck the "Always show bookmarks bar" option (or just hit CTRL+SHIFT+B to toggle the bar off). You should also go to Tools > Extensions and disable all of your extensions so their icons don't appear in the upper right, next to the address bar. > Do you know if Chrome has profile like firefox?
