Yes, I was thinking that a good price comparison site might use a lot of ajax etc. Having seen a couple of other sites, a good design may take a lot of effort and be crucial to success. I think you would have to allow quite a bit of time for testing to make sure your users are getting the results they want presented in a clear way. It is an interesting project. How do you intend to get the prices? For example, will you get the prices from the suppliers' DBs via some API and then cache them into your own datastore? I think GAE might be a great choice for this kind of thing and that makes web2py the natural choice for your framework! Regards, D
