[web2py] Putting a timer on the page and passing it back

I have a view where a give some math problems and the persons have to
give in their answers and then they submit it and i calculate how many
answers are right and i redirect them to a view which shows how much
they get right. On submit though, i want to submit the time they take
to complete the questions. how do i go about doing this properly?
