Sebastian, I agree with your views completely! i *never* use anything but stable releases with my clients, but sometimes when i have issues i get help and fixes from the maintainers much more quickly if i can test their fixes in trunk. Help us out (if you can) and confirm that the fix is in trunk and will be ready for you with the next stable release.
