This is AWESOME! I haven't tried it yet, but sounds awesome. I have to do this all the time, which is why I created plugin_crud for doing it via AJAX. I will look forward to trying this out and will submit patches for anything that could make it better or more customizable.
You guys have done a wonderful job with this. I know Bruno has been working on PowerGrid, and PowerTables before that.
