My company has coordinated with the BIKA foundation (http://www.bikalabs.com/)
port BIKA Labs to web2py, in fact for the next week we will
get a proof of concept.

We will take some references provided by the project
http://code.google.com/p/web2pyhl7/ from Massimo, and add a new interface
following a pattern MVC and also add instrumental control through serial
ports.

I want to invite you to send your suggestions or ideas to this new
version completely re-written BIKA (from Plone 2.6) is further
enriched with the experiences of some of you in the scientific and
medical information.
