Yeah, they're rolling out that new design to all their apps -- Gmail, Calendar, etc. It sounds like they're planning to add Q&A functionality (like Stackoverflow) to Google Groups as well (https://groups.google.com/d/topic/googlegroups-announce/2ccywee6dE4/discussion), which could be very useful for us.
