Some people are having problems running web2py on shared hosts. yet they all support web2py. How about a web2py-proxy.php thet acts as proxy for a web2py process running on localhost?
I can across this http://sourceforge.net/projects/php-proxy/ But I am not a PHP programmer and it does not seem to deal with post. Yet this seems something that should be easy to do. Any value in it? Any takers? Is there something like it already?
