I spoke too soon. SQLFORM.factory is doing the proper renaming and uploading of the file to the filesystem but I still cannot get the new filename no_table.sirgallahad.823497htn7crh743uo5e4.ext
I can only retrieve the original filename with no path a la request.vars.sirgallahad.filename After searching the mail list I can only find one post re: request.vars.sirgallahad_newfilename but that doesn't return anything. Interestingly enough it doesn't break anything either. Please advise as to how I can get the no_table.sirgallahad. 0879euitheui098oeunht.ext Thank you. -David
