Anthony, many thanks. I see that it is the image table format = '%(title)s that causes this to display.
I originally though it was the constraint db.comment.image_id.requires line with specified '%(title)s', but it does not seem to be. Thank you for your help along this path. My apologies for such trivial beginner questions.
