[web2py] What is the best way to migrate a production server to 1.99.4?

The subject says it all.

I have apps in production on a customer's intranet.  The customer has
asked for some enhancements.  I plan to use smartgrid, but I need the
1.99.4 version.

What is the best way to upgrade in this situation?
