[web2py] Insert/Retrieve data to/form Google Spreadsheet

I would like to know if it is possible to insert/retrieve data to/from
Google Spreadsheet using Web2Py framework.
In case yes, what all changes are required to be done at the code
level. Also any specific configurations required to achieve the same?
