Thank you guys. I think Anthony clarified that I was actually running Python 2.5 simply because I was double clicking the web2py executable.
weheh, Where did you find instructions on how to run web2py from source with 2.7? Did you follow the instructions on http://web2py.com/books/default/chapter/29/13 (about 1/2 way down)? It starts with the line, "Installing Apache, and mod_wsgi under Windows requires a different procedure. Here are assuming Python 2.5 is installed, you are running from source and web2py is located at c:/web2py." So my first step was to go to C:we2py in my command window, then and type python web2py.py My goal was to see if Python 2.7 would work but I get this message: Regards, Bill
