Maybe leave the issue but add a note. It would still be useful to be able to more easily distinguish between fields to query and fields to display. A similar issue arises with virtual fields -- currently they can only be included by using the "links" functionality (which I think should be renamed, as it can be used for more than just links), but including a virtual field requires querying all fields in the table (and then hiding the ones you don't want to show via the "readable" attribute).
