[web2py] SQLFORM.grid(col3)?

Is there any reason not to have a col3 argument to SQLFORM.grid, and pass it to 
the create/edit SQLFORMs? Likewise comments. Or maybe just an sqlform argument 
dict to be passed as additional kwargs?
