More info: I restart apache. Log in to admin in the subfolder version. Everything works properly.
Log in to admin in the top level version. Visit the admin of the lower level version. Sometimes errors occur. Sometimes not. Sometimes it makes me log in again sometimes not. It appears that there is some kind of confusion between the sessions. --
