Hello! I'm currently playing with PythonAnywhere (http://www.pythonanywhere.com). Among tons of other features, it allows you to create a free Web2py site with a quick setup procedure. With https you can use the usual Administrative interface, but I was not able to use its versioning feature. It says "Sorry, could not find mercurial installed". In fact, mercurial is installed in the system but I am not able to make Web2py able to see / use it.
