Hi Henry, Thee are very many different QuickCams, some have the same name with different  innards, some have different names but the same innards. It is hard to keep track.  First things first. What is the USB Product ID number? (The vendor id should be 0x046d) This is most easily found in the USB pane of the System Profiler.  With this, I can determine whether the camera is supported by macam. You should complain to Logitech; send them a letter. Their Mac support is  getting worse.
