Hi there- I have a logitech quickcam messenger and it doesn't seem to be working. I actually had the exact same problem with my brother's quickcam Communicator STX. Both cameras load in the macam application, but don't work in any of the applications (ichat, skype, video viewer). I restarted the machine, installed ichatusbcam, and done everything I can find in the forums.
I am on a PB G4 with 1gb processor and ram. I installed the macam component in my user folder, did everything else... I do have iglasses installed- could that be a problem? But it also doesn't work in video viewer. Every time I connect, it says that there's a usb connection error, but then if I start again (in macam), it works. Any ideas?
