I think this is not "just" an accessibility issue, but a plain usability one. I don't know that I agree it's a blocker, but it is important.

I'd also like whomever is implementing this to take a look at SVG Tiny 1.2 (much more powerful) navigation, so there is a clear code upgrade path to that.

IMHO this issue is a blocker on general deployment of webkit and should be marked as such.

OS X is building on a great operating system, but 'Universal Access' has the possibility of suggesting tokenism, and thus attracting the type of bad publicity that this behaviour merits.

Adobe Flash suffers from continuing bad press regarding accessibility, despite having made progress recently.
