Leon,

could you expand on your query?

making an element visible changes it's appearance, though I almost understand what you mean.

how do you mean "treat them differently"?

cheers

Does anyone know how to differentiate between mouseovers/hovers that simply change the appearance of an element (such as an underline or a color change) and those that add new content (such as popping down a dropdown menu)? The iPhone developers seem to have figured it out, since they treat them differently.
