That’s not needed for Netscape plug-ins. There’s a separate kind of plug-in called a WebKit plug-in that requires NSPrincipalClass.

To figure out why your plug-in not working, you should reduce to the simplest test case that doesn’t work. I can’t tell from your message what’s going wrong.
