In the shorter term, fixing this "bug" or "lack of feature" in libxml2 would be ideal. I need to understand the two different ways we invoke XML parsing a bit better. We bootstrap the libxml2 parser slightly different depending on whether it is a "string parser" or a "memory parser". Why is there a difference? -- --Alex Milowski "The excellence of grammar as a guide is proportional to the paucity of the inflexions, i.e. to the degree of analysis effected by the language considered."
