The Alias field allows a bug to be referred to by something other than its 
numeric ID. For instance, if you put "BestBugEver" in the Alias field for a 
hypothetical bug 99999, you can refer to the bug as either 
<https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99999> or 
<https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=BestBugEver>.

The Alias field was added to allow easier tracking of security bugs that have 
identifiers in other security bug databases.

You don't need to add anything to the Alias field for most bugs.
