Nice work Chris! Curious, we have some concepts around the same “blueprint” idea. I worked on a similar, but different, design. Great minds. I’m not yet sure what the plans are for my concept art. You’re right, I think the thin gridlines will disappear at small sizes, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing at small sizes. I just would be careful to intentionally remove them at small sizes rather than letting them blur into the background during resizing. Alternatively, you could change the scale of the grid and use a thicker weight with reduced opacity. If you are changing the scale of the grid, you might aim for more symmetry by aligning the grid to the art elements at the same time. Lastly, reducing or removing the embossing and shadows would also make the art feel like it is on the paper rather than being stamped onto or floating above it. Those are the thoughts I had.
