Based on initial experiments, I'm interested in CMake. We (Alex, really) haven’t had the time to finish the Mac CMake build and/or do a complete head-to-head comparison with Xcode. I would love to see a head-to-head comparison, if someone has time to make it happen. I see potential benefits to having a shared build system that is fast.
