Thanks for the great bug report.
I tried the steps you mention on 416.13, and I reproduced the crash
as well. However, with the latest Safari/WebKit sources, I could not,
so I think this bug has been fixed.
If you're interested, you can test out a build of our latest sources,
available at http://nightly.webkit.org.
