Hello

I have a problem with changing opacity thru CSS on floating elements.

On the page: http://www.jonasmunk.dk/ the green newsbox on the right (Called "Nyheder" in danish) should change opacity on hover. What happens is that the floating elements inside the box disappears. If you move the cursor really fast onto the floating elements they don't disappear :-)

The same problem is on the page http://www.in2isoft.dk/ (The links in the top-right corner - Kontakt etc.)

I have filed a bug: http://bugzilla.opendarwin.org/show_bug.cgi? id=4334 about this

I also filed a bug about a problem with changing opacity with javascript: http://bugzilla.opendarwin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6462

This turned out not to be a bug - but a difference between WebKit and Gecko. Safari following the spec about some stacking of elements after opacity change - or something.

My question is: Is there a relation between these two? Should I also be aware of change in stacking when changing opacity with CSS?

It would be great to have this fixed - Its a great way of making some simple effects in pure css.

In my world this is a severe problem. :-)

Yours Jonas Munk
