I added a new patch to your bug.
With it I was  able to build and run yours did not make enough changes.

Also looks like the cmake stuff is checked in.
I'll work on getting it to work for gdk.

As long as its reasonable I'll probably maintain both build approaches.

If your willing to bring the KDE cmake files over I'm willing to change.
I've been less than happy with bakefiles.
Its a good concept but its just not being maintained to my liking.

If you start with Unity it shold be fairly easy and should bring the
unix builds together.
